After breakfast proceed to Dambulla via Pinnawala and visit the elephant orphanage.
Pinnawala which is about one hour’s journey from Kandy, is one of the largest elephant orphanages. Here they rear Elephants that were lost to their herds by human-elephant conflict and by falling into pits. Most of them are baby elephants. The elephants are fed at the orphanage and bathed in the nearby river twice a day, which will be an unforgettable experience for you.
Continue to Dambulla and check-in to the hotel. In the evening visit Sigiriya. One of Asia’s major archaeological sites, Sigiriya presents a unique concentration of fifth-century urban planning, architecture, gardening, engineering, hydraulic technology and art. Sigiriya was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.
On completion of the journey, return to Dambulla and spend the night in the hotel.
Take breakfast packets from the hotel and leave early morning at around 5 O’clock for a safari at Minneriya National Park.
Minneriya National Park gives the opportunity to witness herds of Elephants throughout the year. Wild elephants from the surrounding wilderness, make their way to the shores of the Minneriya Reservoir adjoining the Minneriya National Park in search of food and water. Huge herds of Elephants, sometimes numbering up to 300, converge together within a few square kilometres of the lake. This Elephant Gathering is an amazing spectacle that would be remembered long after by all those who were fortunate enough to witness it.
After a thrilling safari at Minneriya National park proceed to Kandy via Matale. Visit a Spice Garden in Matale to see many different types of spices Sri Lanka is famous for. There you will be introduced to different spices and shown how some of these spices are grown and processed. Continue to Kandy, home to many world heritage sites such as Buddhist temples including the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic. Set in a valley surrounded by rings of mountains, the city of Kandy is the gateway to the Salubrious hill country of Sri Lanka. In the evening enjoy a cultural show of Traditional Dances.

After breakfast proceed to Kitulgala.
The road to Negombo via Kithulgala is one of great beauty owing to its varying landscape. The stretch of Kelani River 5km upstream from the village of Kitulgala is one of the best locations for white water rafting.
In addition to White Water Rafting, the village is famous as a location of Jungle trekking, outdoor Camping, and mountain biking.
On completion proceed to Negombo.
Spend the night at the hotel in Negombo.
