Closure of the ZONE 01 of the Yala National Park for 02 months from 01st September 2018

Please be informed that the Zone No.01 of the Ruhunu (Yala) National Park administered by the Department of Wildlife Conservation, will be closed for tourists activity from 01.09.2018 up to 31.10.2018, to allow the normalization of the wild animals’ natural behavioral patterns and their habitats and to effect improvements to the park’s infrastructure facilities.

  • Free Pickup/Drop off from/to any location within the radius of 5 KM from the Palatupana Park Gate.

  • Pickup/Dropoff from/to any location not within a 5 KM radius of the Palatupana Park Gate. (Upon request)
